My CL ties have gone okay. Napoli narrowly lost 1-0 in the Bernabeu thank to a spawny as feck 88th minute deflected effort from Robinho, and Valencia beat the mighty Inter at the San Siro. Raul Albiol and Nikola Zigic the scorers.
Continued my streak with Lyon against Arsenal as well. Played them something like five times - won all five games. Benzema again the man with a stunning double. I have a nickname for him now - Big Game Benny. The bigger the game, the better the performance from him.

I am in bits at how bullshit this game is at times.
Got a penalty on the 90th minute to make it 3-1 against Real at home.
Kallstrom has scored about 8/9 penalties not missing one this season and all of a sudden he misses, split second later Raul scores to make it 2-2. BULLSHIT

We fecking mullered them and should have won by five. I now face Valencia in the semi-finals
I spoke too soon about my hoodoo over Arsenal, could only manage a 3-3 draw against them at the Emirates. Adebayor is f*cking ridiculous. But then so is Benzema

Blooming heck - only gone and won the league with Napoli!
I had an awful start, I think we lost two of the first five, but we've been amazing since. Lavezzi was on fire until he was injured after Christmas, and then Flores and Cacia took up the slack. Santana and Di Maria wide were fantastic, both hitting double figures in assists, whilst the midfield triumvirate of Galloppa, Dessena and Diego were frigging brilliant. I leaked a few at the back, more than I would have liked, but on the whole, the first choice unit of Ansaldi, Cannavaro, Criscito and Rullo were outstanding. I ended up having to sign a keeper in the January transfer window when Navarro was ruled out for 3 months with a damaged hip, and I ended up signing Rubinho - and he was fantastic. Can't forget the back ups - Andreolli, Santacroce, Marchese, Blasi, Gasbarroni, Konan, Rakic, Bernacci - superb. We were the top scorers, out-stripping even Inter and the 40 goal man Ibrahimovic.
I'll make a few changes in the summer, Vlaar will be gone, might sell Ansaldi as I have penis envy for Di Silvestri at Lazio, Miranda will take over as first choice ahead of Cannavaro alongside Criscito, Blasi will be gone, Gasbarroni will go, Lavezzi will be gone (I have a big name lined up to replace him), Bernacci might be gone (shame, I love him, but he's not as good as Cacia, and Rakic is younger) - plus others depending on what offers I get. Need to strengthen the side with some big names.

Summer shopping done.
Outs:
Ansaldi (Atletico Madrid)
Vlaar (Hamburg)
Blasi (Sampdoria)
Santana (Liverpool - who have a decent looking team but seem to lose a lot of games)
Lavezzi (Chelsea)
Bernacci (Newcastle)
Managed to get a fair bit for those (eeked £20M out of Chelsea for Lavezzi), I wasn't going to sell Santana originally, but then Gasbarroni was called up for the Italian World Cup squad and performed superbly, and when Liverpool came in for Santana, it sort of forced my hand. Bernacci was a victim of the numbers game, he was already behind Cacia and Rakic, and I suddenly developed a hard-on for Oscar Cardozo who is a better player than all those mentioned. Managed to get £13M out of the Barcodes (who will add him to Rodrigo Palacio, Owen, and Vagner Love) for him. I spunked all of that money on:
Lorenzo De Silvestri (Lazio)
Simone Padoin (Atalanta)
Sergio Aguero (
)
Oscar Cardozo (Fenerbahce)
Those four set me back £70M, but it will be worth it. Ansaldi was very good for me, but De Silvestri is already the Italian #1 RB and I wanted some more Italian blood in the team at the back. I've had my eye on Padoin for some time - he's listed as a WB/AM RL, but look at him, where would you project a player with these stats?

He has DM written all over him, so he's being re-trained and will replace Blasi. I'll retrain him to full-back as well when the DM training is done. As for the front two - goals win games. Aguero was on my wanted list from Christmas onwards, and when I enquired about him and they set an asking price of £40M, I simply had to. As for Cardozo, I had (and still have) Rakic lined up as a young target-man, but I was doing a search for a cheap experienced target-man to replace Bernacci, and he appeared on the radar. When Fener said they only wanted £12.5M, it was game on. Obviously that's not "cheap", but in terms of ability, it was for him.
I also signed some youngsters and a couple of players on free transfers, one of them being Dominique Kivuvu, a Dutch DM from NEC, check this cat out:

So, the squad going into the new season:
GK: Nicolas Navarro (vice-captain) (Rubinho, Enrico Alfonso)
RB: Lorenzo De Silvestri (Marco Andreolli, Antonio Mottolla)
CB: Miranda (Paolo Canavarro ©)
CB: Domenco Criscito (Fabiano Santacroce)
LB: Ermino Rullo (Giovanni Marchese, Adriano Colombo)
RW: Andrea Gasbarroni (Ricardo Douglas Packer)
CM: Daniele Galloppa (Simone Padoin, Dominique Kivuvu)
CM: Diego (Daniele Dessena, Tomas Smisek)
LW: Angel Di Maria (Cedric Konan)
ST: Oscar Cardozo (Daniele Cacia, Djorde Rakic)
ST: Sergio Aguero (Antonio Floro Flores, Mirko Antenucci)
There's a couple of names in there you won't recognise, Packer and Antenucci, both being cheap bargain buys from lower leagues to offer depth. Antenucci has been at the club since the January transfer window and has done well, and his stats are improving.
As for Valencia, not been much movement, still might sell a couple of the strikers (Agouda is a right moaning little f*cker, and Maksimovic can't get passed Braulio and Nolito, the latter of which looks really good now) and if I can find a decent CB, I'll get rid of Cesar Arzo who is a walking, talking, penalty-giving nightmare - he gave away 7 last season. I've sold Landreau after just one season, main reason being I had penis envy for someone else, and he's gone to Arsenal to replace the 33 year old Manuel Almunia. The player I had penis envy for was Guillermo Ochoa. I've been looking for a younger keeper, and it was between him and Akinfeev. The 7.5M difference in price tag meant it was Ochoa.
I've also got rid of Hedwiges Maduro. He was surplus to requirements, especially with Etienne Didot coming in on a free from Rennes. He was another who joined Arsenal (considering they still only have three central midfielders, the daft b*stards). I was also looking at maybe swapping Quaresma for Jesus Navas, but when comparing the two and looking at their stats and performances from the last couple, Quaresma is simply better all round. I'm also looking at bringing in Mathias Fernandez, potentially, but if I did that I'd have to commit to a 4-2-3-1, which I'm not keen on doing just yet.
The squad as it stands:
GK: Guillermo Ochoa (Inaki Goitia, Davide de Gea)
RB: Miguel Torres (Juan Valera, Antanas Vasilev)
CB: Raul Albiol © (Jose Perlaza)
CB: Alexis (Cesar Arzo)
LB: Guillherme (Emiliano Insua)
RW: Ricardo Quaresma (Sisi, Sercan Sararer)
CM: Cesc Fabregas (vice-captain) (Leon Andreasen, David Albelda)
CM: Javi Martinez (Etienne Didot, Carlos Saez)
LW: David Silva (Juan Mata)
ST: Nikola Zigic (Nolito, Kwabena Agouda)
ST: David Villa (Braulio, Boban Maksimovic)
That will change mind.

Just played the return leg at the Bernabeu and won 2-3
They were 2-0 (4-2agg) I subbed Delgado who was up top with Lopez for Makoun putting Kallstrom further up behind lopez and Makoun slotted in the centre of midfield, He scored after coming on at HT, I waited until the 81st minute when I shot on Briand up top for Lopez, I will let the screenshot tell you how he changed the game... I had a goal disallowed also in extra time.
What a result, coming back from 2 behind at the Bernabeu!!
