Won't touch it until January probably, after they've released the first few patches to sort out all the bugs :Davelfc:

For the first time in a long time I'm really not bothered about this. I just don't seem to be able to muster any enthusiasm towards it at all.

Same here, don't usually get it until Christmas time and then add the patches at the end of January. Top game, just takes up too much time!

Same here, I used to anticipate the new CM's being released something rotten, I was impatient as hell. Not that bothered now though, I've only played FM07 once in the last month.

The Xbox is taking over when it comes to gaming, at least in my life anyway.

Have I mentioned how much Halo 3 kicks ass? Wrong thread you say?

Who cares :Davelfc:

So, installed the game and opened it up, then, my jaw drops. what is this? A new red skin. Not sure if i like it yet, im hoping it will grow on me. Having been an FM player since CM 2001, i hope im qualified to give you a quick guide to the new game, especially for those doubters or those who have never played the game, or maybe just those who cba to download it! :D

In terms of setting up your game, pretty much the same as 2007, still got the club info part, which i really liked from last year. Unfortunately our media prediction is only 3rd :o Which leads me on to the first new feature i found, a small one, but pretty cool none the less. When you start up you get the usual message from the chairman, but you also automatically get a report on your team from your assistant manager. The really cool thing is though, that as opposed to the traditional Season Expectations, you can now tell the board how well you think your team will do, and they will tweak your budget for your goals.

I'll be back after my first game. Against AC :o
